Finance Manager - Hammersmith, London

Our client is an incredibly well established contractor that works on some of London's high end refurbishments.

They are on the lookout for a highly motivated, well organised and adaptable Finance Manager.

The ideal Finance Manager will have experience in:

  • Collaborating with the project manager to develop a detailed, cost-effective budget for the project
  • Preparing management reports such as cash flow, profit and loss, analysis of key indicators and budget information
  • Raising purchase orders & sales invoices
  • Bank, Credit Card, Petty Cash Reconciliations
  • Daily and monthly ledger entries
  • CIS management including verifying subcontractors online with HMRC
  • Review retention claims
  • Preparation of the Month end payment run - Supplier reconciliations
  • Process weekly payments to suppliers via BACS/credit card

Essentials in the role:

  • Experience of using Xero or similar
  • Excellent MS office skills
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written English skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take initiative, and when necessary, ability to be assertive
  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Salary: up to £40,000 per annum
