Job description

Carpenter (PAYE DIRECT) - City of London, Canary Wharf

This is a permanent PAYE position for a carpenter with great opportunity for training and progression into Supervisor, Site manager and beyond within an established but growing commercial fit-out company. They offer overtime and weekend work which is paid at 1.5x with all added benefits of a PAYE contract.

Main Duties:

  • 1st & 2nd fix
  • Read drawings & plans
  • Install ceilings, walls and fire products associated with walls and ceilings
  • Working in live environments

Requirements:

  • 3yrs experience
  • CSCS Card
  • Min NVQ2 or City & Guilds
  • Driving licence (strongly preferred)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred, not essential)
